Things are looking rosy at the Emirates these days. The Gunners may not be playing swashbuckling football, but the results are coming in, and the early season blues has become a story from way back. The Gunners are back, and to borrow Rio Ferdinand’s line just for this occasion - Arteta is at the wheel - he’s doing his thing.

Whatever Mikel Arteta is doing or feeding the players at the Emirates is working as they are on the brink of making the top four after a long time.

Arteta may be successful at the Emirates, but some players will not be part of it. One of the players that might not be part of the success Arteta is cooking for Arsenal is Alexandre Lacazette.

Lacazette looking for options

For a while, rumours have been rife about the Frenchman’s readiness to move on from Arsenal. The Gunners have not made any attempt to renew his contract that expires at the end of the season. The player has been deemed surplus to requirement, forcing the Frenchman to look outside to secure his future.

Speaking on French television channel Telefoot, Lacazette said that his agents are scouting for options for him as his contract at Arsenal comes to an end in the summer.

He told the channel that his agents were looking everywhere, but not until January as he intends to focus on something. According to the striker, he and his agents will see what is on offer. They will see if the challenges are attractive and if the projects are beautiful and how they will count on him.

Lacazette said there are many questions, but he prefers to wait till January to position himself. It looks bang on the money that the Frenchman will be leaving the Emirates in the summer.

Tottenham and Arsenal hit the trenches for Juventus wing-back

Arsenal are bidding for Juventus wing-back Dejan Kulusevski. The Swedish player has not impressed the gaffer at Juventus and is keen to offload him.

According to reports, Juve manager Massimiliano Allegri is at odds with what to do with the player. The Italian gaffer is far from satisfied with what Kulusevski brings to the table and has made less than complimentary remarks of the player.

Allegri thinks the player is not ready to challenge for a position on the pitch. He further reiterated that he doesn’t want to find space in the team for the Swedish international.

Calciomercato reports that Arsenal faces a challenge for the player from Tottenham Hotspurs. The report suggests that Antonio Conte holds an interest in Kulusevski.

Kuluvsevski lacks game time at Juventus and will be keen to make a move to North London.
