A move for Fiorentina goalkeeper Bartlomiej Dragowski is expected to take place this summer, with the shot-stoppers consistently good performances for his club side attracting interest from premier league teams. West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspurs are both monitoring his performances closely, according to Viola News.

Premier League teams clamouring his services

The Hammers, who will in the near term, need to acquire a long-term successor for Lukasz Fabianski, and signing his fellow countryman may prove to be a good move. On the other hand, Tottenham is also preparing for life beyond Hugo Lloris, and therefore, the Polish goalkeeper is being considered by both clubs.

Dragowski has the potential to be a valuable long-term acquisition for both Premier League teams, and Fiorentina is reportedly searching for alternatives for the Polish international. The Italian club is interested in signing Juventus goalkeeper Mattia Perin in the summer transfer window as a possible replacement for their first team goalkeeper.

It is reasonable to expect Fiorentina to sell the Polish goalkeeper for the best possible price in the coming summer transfer window. With his performances in the Italian league, Dragowski has the potential to be a success in the Premier League as well. The 1.91 shot-stopper has the physique and speed not to be intimidated by the hustle and bustle of one of the best leagues in the world.

A decision to further his career

Teams such as West Ham will be able to offer him European football next season, and a transfer to the Premier League would almost certainly be an attractive option for the youngster. When compared to Serie A, the Premier League will provide a more challenging test for the player, and the transfer may help him develop as a goalkeeper.

As with all players who enter the hurly-burly of the Premier League for the first time, the 23-year-old would need to get acclimated to the intensity and physicality of English football. If both West Ham and Tottenham make offers for his services, he would have to think very carefully about the attributes of both before deciding which one will be better for his burgeoning career.
