Gnabry is considering leaving the club amid interest from Real Madrid, Liverpool and Juventus.

Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have a few players close to the end of their contracts. As the five-time Champions League continue to coast in the Bundesliga, they have some players who are not keen to continue at the club.

Last season, the club lost David Alaba to Real Madrid for free. Their talisman Robert Lewandowski seems tired of playing in the Bundesliga and is reportedly looking for a new challenge with his contract expiring in 2023. Current odds from bookmakers hint that the Polish forward could even depart the club this summer.

Manchester United and, much recently, Barcelona have already shown interest in Lewandowski.

Other players whose contracts are close to expiring are Manuel Neuer - June 2023, Thomas Muller - June 2023 and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting - June 2023. Niklas Sule and Corentin Tolisso have contracts that will expire at the end of the season.

Serge Gnabry has, however, attracted attention from top clubs across Europe. The former Arsenal forward, whose contract expires next summer, is keen on a new challenge like Lewandowski.

Gnabry is looking to leave Bayern

With all the contracts close to expiration, the German giants are hard-pressed to keep their best players. Two players are already leaving in the summer for free, and if Bayern cannot convince the players with less than 18 months on their contracts to extend, they will have no choice but to sell this summer.

Serge Gnabry, who contributed immensely to Bayern’s Champions League success in 2020, is keen on a new challenge, with interest from around Europe. The 26-year-old is in talks to extend his present contract, which expires in 2023. However, he is also considering calling time on his stint at the Allianz Arena.

According to Goal, Bayern Munich wants to convince Gnabry to agree to a new contract. Their effort is not yielding dividends as the club is still far from reaching an agreement with the winger. Goal also reports that Gnabry is open to a move away from the Allianz Arena.

Wanted by Europe’s elite

Arsenal’s loss was Bayern’s gain. Gnabry had a torrid spell at the Emirates but has become one of Europe’s finest wingers. In 163 appearances, Gnabry scored 61 goals and 40 assists.

Goal reports that Real Madrid has been keeping tabs on the German winger, intending to bring him to the Santiago Bernabeu. Los Blancos have contacted his representatives seeking the situation on his availability.

The report also suggests that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is keen on landing the player. According to Goal, Klopp is a keen admirer of the German and sees him as a possible replacement for Mo Salah if the Egyptian leaves Anfield.

Another club credited with an interest in the German winger is Juventus.

Regardless, Julian Nagelsmann believes that Gnabry would remain at the Allianz Arena. The Bayern manager is confident Gnabry will stay and believes the winger has everything he needs at Bayern.

Gnabry has scored 14 goals and ten assists this season.
