Aston Villa has seen a second bid of £30m for Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith Rowe rejected.
According to Skysports, this is the second bid tabled by Aston Villa for the 20-year-old England youth international. Villa had seen an initial offer of £25m rejected by Arsenal as the North London club is said to be digging in and not entertaining any offers for their youngster.
Emile Smith Rowe’s contract is set to expire at the end of June 2023, and the Gunners are confident of extending his contract.

Talks of a new contract are ongoing between Arsenal and Smith Rowe. The Arsenal management confident Smith Rowe will sign a new deal that would extend his stay at the North London outfit.
Smith Rowe made 37 appearances for Mikel Arteta’s men in all competitions. He scored seven goals and provided a further seven assists in those 37 appearances for the Gunners. Smith Rowe caught the eyes of suitors with his performance in the second half of the season. He was instrumental to the Gunners’ last season as he helped them to an eighth-place finish in the Premier League finish.
Previously, betpack reported that Liverpool are also interested in Aston Villa’s John McGinn. The defensive midfielder had an excellent season for the Midlands’s club and has caught the eyes of the Anfield giants.
Aston Villa would be among the favourites of the top bookmakers to finish in the Europa conference league places if the club manages to hold on to Grealish and sign Smith Rowe.
